On April 9, 2022 we got married with an small group of family and friends in my parental home. It was very special to marry the love of my life in the house where I was born and raised. I knew Astrid from my first marriage, where she also did a great job for us! It was obvious for me to ask her again before our big day.

Because my husband and I are abroad a lot for our work, I asked Astrid to organize the day again and be the master of ceremonies. Before we came to the choice to get married at my parents' house, we looked at a number of locations and we even looked at the possibility of getting married on Ameland. A fun and sometimes frustrating process, where Astrid helped us very professionally and lovingly! She sorted everything out and ended up being honest with us saying that our wish is probably not going to make us the happiest. Something we didn't want to hear right away, but in the end we are very happy that she said it! A good wedding planner should also be able to do that.

April 9th at my parents’ house was really fantastic and we wouldn't change anything else if we could! In the evening we had a nice dinner with our guests in the restaurant where I started my catering career as a 15-year-old. It was a wonderful, personal and unique day at a unique location. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail!

Astrid has proven herself again; I highly recommend her to anyone planning an event!
