None of this would have been possible without Vincent. He is my help and mainstay in the background, but also very much in the foreground.

He thinks along with me, gives advice where necessary and puts lots of work in the company by acting as my right-hand man at bridal fairs, weddings and other activities.

Assisting a wedding couple on their way to their wedding day is great to do.

During the wedding day, together with an assistant, I ensure that everything runs smoothly on the basis of a detailed scenario.

My name is Astrid Blaauw-Thoonsen I am married to Vincent Blaauw and we made the arrangements for our wedding in June 2004 by ourselves. 

After our wedding day, I received more and more questions about how I went about organising everything and that gave me an idea… wedding planning.

In februari 2008 I started with my own company Astrid Blaauw Weddings & Events.

Since then I have assisted more than 160 wedding couples in the organization of their marriage.
